About Us

A collaboration years in the making between James Beard Award-winning restaurateur Stephen Starr and legendary chef Nancy Silverton culminates in the opening of the Michelin-starred Osteria Mozza in Washington, DC. Located in the historic market space on M Street NW in Georgetown, 20,000 square feet are dedicated to rustic and traditional Italian food, with a marble-toped Mozzarella Bar, two private dining areas, and a feature unique to the restaurant's first East Coast location: a colorful market showcasing specialty olive oils, spices, fresh produce, jarred and tinned Italian delicacies and more items handpicked by Silverton herself.
